Try the Free ToolNotebookLM infographic PNGs carry a "Created with NotebookLM" text mark, and the practical free removal options today are careful cropping or an image editor - our watermark remover tool currently handles PDF, PPTX, and video exports, with image support on our roadmap.
Beyond slide decks and videos, NotebookLM also generates infographic images - visual one-page summaries of your research that are perfect for social media, handouts, and reference materials. Like all NotebookLM outputs, these images come marked with "Created with NotebookLM" text. Here's how to remove it and get clean, shareable images.
What Are NotebookLM Infographics?
NotebookLM can generate infographic-style visual summaries from your source materials. These are typically single-page PNG images with:
- A structured visual layout with key concepts
- Icons, charts, or diagrams representing your research
- Bullet-point summaries of key findings
- The "Created with NotebookLM" watermark text and logo
They're ideal for LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X infographic threads, classroom handouts, and one-page research summaries - but the watermark needs to go first for professional use.
Where Is the Watermark on NotebookLM Infographics?
On infographic PNGs, the "Created with NotebookLM" mark typically appears in the bottom area of the image - either bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right depending on the infographic layout template. The mark is rendered as semi-transparent text over the infographic background.
How to Remove the Watermark from NotebookLM Infographics
Method 1: Edit the PNG in an Image Editor
Because the infographic is a flat PNG, any capable image editor can remove the mark:
- Export your infographic from NotebookLM as a PNG image
- Open it in a free editor such as GIMP, Photopea (browser-based), or Preview/Paint for simple cases
- If the mark sits over a solid background, cover it with a matching-colour rectangle or use a clone/heal tool
- Export the edited PNG at the original resolution
Note: our own NotebookLM Watermark Remover currently supports PDF, PPTX, and video exports - not standalone PNG images yet. If your infographic content also exists as a slide in a deck, exporting the deck as PDF and cleaning it with our PDF watermark remover is the cleanest automated path.
Method 2: Crop the Bottom Section
If the watermark is isolated in the very bottom strip of the infographic and there's no important content there, cropping is a quick alternative. Use any image editor or even the built-in Photos app (Windows) or Preview (Mac) to crop the bottom 5–8% of the image.
Limitation: cropping changes the aspect ratio and may cut off important infographic content. Only use this if the bottom area is clearly just the watermark strip.
Using Clean NotebookLM Infographics on Social Media
LinkedIn is the ideal platform for research-based infographics. Post your clean NotebookLM infographic with a brief explanation of the key insight and relevant hashtags. Document posts (PDFs) also work well on LinkedIn - consider packaging your infographic into a PDF carousel for higher engagement.
Twitter / X
X (formerly Twitter) shows image previews in the feed. A clean, well-designed NotebookLM infographic without branding looks professional and shareable. Add your own attribution in the tweet text if you want to credit your analysis process.
Instagram infographics work best as square (1:1) or portrait (4:5) formats. NotebookLM infographics are typically landscape - you may need to add padding to achieve the right aspect ratio. Use a free tool like Canva to add a branded background and reframe the infographic before posting.
Audio Overview Images
When you share an Audio Overview link, NotebookLM sometimes generates a preview image or thumbnail with the "Created with NotebookLM" mark. If you're using these preview images in course materials or blog posts, the same manual image-editing process applies. Full Audio Overview video exports, by contrast, can be cleaned automatically - see our podcast-to-video watermark guide.
Clean the Rest of Your NotebookLM Exports
While infographic PNGs need one of the manual methods above for now, everything else NotebookLM exports can be cleaned automatically with our free tools: the PDF watermark remover, the PPTX watermark remover, and the video watermark remover. No signup, no upload to servers, instant results.
